ENC Radio
We have developed the ENC radio for the company, Görlitz.
Swift selection instead of laborious tours.
The short-range radio system, ENC Radio, simplifies impulse-based meter data recording in locations which are difficult to gain access to, for example in draining shafts.
The ‘Plug and Play’ radio modules are configured and then installed on the impulse-transmitting meter. This enables immediate, convenient meter data recording, meaning that laborious access, for example in draining shafts, for routine readings are no longer necessary. This optimizes your processes and saves valuable resources, staff and costs.
The shaft does not need to be opened, reading is made from a convenient distance. The ENC radio is also suitable for the sorting of compound water meters. By means of the second impulse inlet, the meter levels of both meters can be simulated.
The radio system, ENC Radio, is made up of two components: a radio module and the receiving board in compact flash format for all common handhelds and PDA with CF slot. This receives the radio signals and, after the reading tour, the measured values recorded are transferred to further processing systems.
In order to arrange the assembly in the shaft as easy as possible, ENC radio modules are available in a round housing design. The round housing provides swift and suitable assembly near to the shaft cover or access point for approx. 95 % of all shafts. Additional assembly options, such as the separate transmitting antenna, supplement the portfolio of the ENC radio system. You are sure to find the right solution.
Cooperation with Görlitz AG
The companies, Görlitz AG and TRL-Funksysteme GmbH, have decided to cooperate in the field of meter radio recording. With over 80 employees, Görlitz AG of Koblenz is one of the European market leaders with devices and systems for energy management and data services. More than 350 European energy suppliers use devices and control systems of Görlitz.
IRIS Door Communication System
In cooperation with our partner company, SMD Funk GmbH, we have developed the IRIS gate communication system.
A new process, developed by SMD Funksteuerungs GmbH in cooperation with TRL Funksysteme GmbH, both from Rodgau-Jügesheim near Frankfurt am Main, extends the continuously perfect opening and closing of industrial gates. Now it is possible to perform economical monitoring of abrasion to gates continuously, and to prevent a situation which ends in complete malfunction. If you can foresee the inoperative state of gates, you are able to perform repair work when there is time available and production is not disturbed. This planning reserve is provided by the ‘IRIS Gate Communication System’.
IRIS means ‘Industry Resource Internet Supervision’. It represents a secure, flexible and economical method of monitoring several industrial gates simultaneously. The IRIS system comprises a central unit with integrated GPRS or internet modem, and a bi-directional data radio module. The control unit which is connected directly to the motor control communicates with the central unit via the license-free IRIS data radio module. The system functions without cables and can monitor gates via sensors or direct communication with the motor control (eg. via RS-232 or RS 485) of the gate. If a gate has a malfunction, firstly an alarm message is sent via the IRIS radio network, which is free of charge, to the central unit. From there it is passed on to the web server of the IRIS system via a mobile radio network or internet connection. The staff responsible can then be automatically informed eg. via SMS or email.
Further information on this system is available under www.irissystem.de.
